We wanted to share a general update so everyone has a clear picture of where things stand today.
Nick remains in the ICU and is still very sick, but he is stable at this time. He has been closely monitored around the clock, and the medical team continues to focus on supporting his body while it heals.
Overnight, there were some ups and downs, which is not unexpected in a situation like this. He had a brief cardiac event early this morning, and the team responded immediately. He came back quickly and is now back to the same condition he was in before the event. He remains under close observation.
Right now, Nick is heavily sedated, which means the doctors cannot yet fully assess his neurological function. They are carefully balancing medications and treatments to support his heart, brain, and kidneys, and the next few days will be important as they continue this process.
Today, we are specifically asking for prayers for:
• His brain — for healing and recovery as the sedation is adjusted in time
• His heart — for strength and stability
• His kidneys — as they continue to support his body through this critical period
We are deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and support being sent his way. It truly means more than we can put into words. We will continue to share updates as we learn more.
