On the morning of Thursday, March 26th, 2009, Nicholas Principato lost his courageous battle with leukemia and went home to the loving arms of Jesus. The family is grateful to everyone who has lifted them up in prayer during this difficult time; please continue to pray for them.

Please join the Principato Family and Christian Surfers Manasquan this Saturday, April 4th at 10am on the beach off Brinley Ave (by the Pavilion) in Bradley Beach. The surfers will be doing a memorial paddle out in honor of Nick. Click here for contact info.

From his Dad's words:

This morning Nicholas went home to The Lord. He arrived at the hospital at 5:00 a.m and passed around 7:30. I wasn't here because I was stuck in traffic on Rte 18 for 1:15 minutes. He is with Christ and will have no more pain. Kim and I will miss him more than the depth of the oceans and the breadth of the sky. Hold your children tight and then hold them tighter again. Love them with everything you have,every minute of every second of every day. Teach them the right way and from us, teach them that they are not invincible. - Joe
